Ping! Ringing In Fall With Dynamic Duos

Whether it’s the triggering sound of Mr. Popular’s phone or demanding the obedience of your favourite Disney princess, there’s bound to be nothing but welcoming cheery giggles. To welcome the season of pumpkin spice and glammed Fall-fashion stripes, a Toronto bestie made her awaited return to NYC. It didn’t matter if on one day our face glam took five hours or on another the weather was too volatile for wearing the wrong top. Looking and feeling great happened as peas in a pod, striking as a pair of dental forceps. As all catch-ups go, it’s important to feel energized about the dreams and goals of family and friends because it’s an exclusive invitation to see them at their best. And we all know seeing someone at their best sparks a little bit of inspiration. Now that my mind is somewhere up in the skies, I hope you’re enjoying the view from up here as much as I am. I’m keeping this blog post short and sweet, so let’s see what these dynamic duos have been up to!

Spent a productive Saturday morning working at the New York Public Library before cooking homemade wontons in noodle soup

Entertained and equally as surprised by the crude humour of Broadway’s, Book of Mormon!

Trained to Chinatown for tasty dumplings before exploring Little Italy for The Feast of San Gennaro. Ended the night with dinner at Soju Haus and ice cream for dessert at Sundaes Best!

Took a day trip to Staten Island to visit the Chinese Scholar’s Garden in Snug Harbor’s Cultural Center, passing Lady Liberty to where bamboo trees flourished

Experienced a walk back through time to the Ming Dynasty where the Chinese garden consisted of koi, rocks, calligraphy and nature that brought forth beauty and harmony

Walked through hallways into rooms and over bridges too

Where ponds and trees made for lovely togetherness views

Concluded the day with a pitstop at the bull before taking a trip to Soothr for tasty authentic Thai food

And finished off the weekend with a trip to the Brooklyn Flea Market in Dumbo before energizing ourselves for a brisk walk across the Brooklyn Bridge

Until next time!
