Memory Capsule: Phuket to Bangkok

After a few blog posts where I finally had the opportunity to speak to my time in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Hanoi, Vietnam, I am happy to close the journey by sharing my time in Phuket and Bangkok, Thailand. This last stretch of my trip was meant to be more relaxing after weeks of flying and exploring around but still provide a sense of longing adventure. Thinking about my time there now has made me realize how much more there is to see and explore. It feels as if this trip has shown me what one drop of water was in the vastness of the sea. Although this last piece of the trip concluded something that I hold close to heart, it also inspires the many possibilities of untravelled paths to come. This short and sweet blog post serves as a simple thank you to the beautiful people, places and things I’ve come to feel intrigued and amazed by. Now here’s what I did.

Took an afternoon trip to The Big Buddha in Phuket!

Spent a day at the beach and perused through a night market for delicious food

Observed cool waters, monkeys, and snorkeled on an excursion around the Phi Phi Islands

Arrived in Bangkok for the last few remaining days of the Asia Trip and checked out the rooftop infinity pool at the Hyatt

Visited Wat Suthat Thepwararam, one of Bangkok’s must-see Buddhist Temples

Explored Sooksiam’s beautiful and vibrant indoor floating market

Until next time!
