Welcome to the first post of my Memory Capsule series where I decided to expand on my website content by sharing past experiences before I decided to start blogging. I was listening to Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s See You Again and became caught in a nostalgic headspace - being thankful and blessed for some of the experiences that I had within the past decade. I began looking through an archive of thousands of photos saved on my cloud storage and figured these needed to serve a better purpose. What purpose do digital snapshots serve if failing to helping us remember? Extravagance. Stockpiling a bunch of bytes for $12 a month. Call it what you will - a blog backfill, a prequel, tying the timeline together, a youthful reminder. Experiences through this lifetime are a stories to be told, remembered, and cherished. I wanted to go through these photos and bring the past back to life even for a brief moment. Sentimentality gives memory a vessel via depictions of the past. The intent and hope of these Memory Capsules is to reignite the sense of adventure and to hone in on a desire to see the world.
To start this post off, my best friend decided to have her Bachelorette party in Paris back in September 2018. Here goes!

Explored The Louvre for all of its iconic artwork and obsessed over the lighting through a myriad of glass panes
And ensured that we engaged ourselves in all of the artistic fun
Expressed beauty, cheerfulness, and exuberance in our cute AirBnB
Grabbed coffee on a calm, cloudy morning before walking to the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann for some amazing rooftop views
Learned to fearlessly swing around a pole before getting ready for a night of drinking, dancing, and even more pole-dancing
Took an early morning train to the Palace of Versailles where some of us were invigorated by historical beauty and some enervated by a hangover
Strolled alongside The Seine River appreciating our short and sweet Paris Bachelorette trip before saying our goodbyes
And how could I forget about the French dining and fast food that kept us energized?!
