Today’s word is GLORY.
The Twitter writing community posted a challenge to write a short poem today about autumn so I decided to combine that with writing about today’s Wordle word. It was initially ideated very quickly but has gone through a series of revisions. I’m happy with the final outcome but any feedback is greatly appreciated!
Autumn in all its Glory
Red lipstick imprinted on cups of pumpkin spice
Warmth in peacoats and from Chelsea boot strides
Fingertips sensing a cooler wind east
Wind playing with hair and autumnal leaves
Heart and mind tracking days to Libra from Virgo
Ever-falling for Fall with its fashion and glow
